The love I share with my wife is… different. It has weight. It fills a room instantly and lingers long after we’ve left. So if we were going to get married, the ceremony couldn’t just be beautiful it had to mean something. I wasn’t interested in the kind of traditional weddings I’d seen before: long, polished words that say very little, read by someone who doesn’t know us. That was never going to be enough.

I told myself: If I’m getting married, it has to be a real profession of love. A declaration, not just for each other, but for all the friends and family who’ve helped shape our journey. I wanted the entire environment to feel like us like we do on our best days: fun, free, passionate, and honest. And the person marrying us had to know that love. Know that energy. Know our story. Because to me, the person who officiates isn’t a formality they’re the soul of the moment.
